About Olivia
Hello!
My name is Olivia and I am currenlty a college freshman in Chicago. I have a passion for learning and helping others. I believe that we can achieve confidence a strong understanding of the subject that you're stuggling with. I am kind, helpful, and a caring person. Everyone needs help, so let me help you!
My counselor approached me and asked if I would be willing to tutor in the library during free period and before and after school. She encouraged me to start because she felt that I would be a great influence, a kind gelping hand, and a nice person to go to when students were struggling.
I have gone through over 12 years of schooling, and I know how hard or frustrating it can be. Being young, I can connect with young students and be able to relate to what they are going through. i graduated high school with a 3.9 GPA, got into every college I applied for, and tutored kids throughout my 4 years there.

Firstly, I suggest we have a meeting. Nothing too fancy, just sitting down with a snack or some coffee, and we can take about what you want to achieve with my help. Then, from there, I will come up with a plan to that I believe will help you comprehend the subject matter and give you the confidence you need to succeed.
I have worked with all kinds of students. All GPAs, every class level, and special needs. I do not discriminate when it comes to students.
Go with who you feel would not only teach you the most, but also be the best support system. Support is very important when you are trying to grasp on to any diffivult subject.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I think students should think about how it would affect their performance if the teacher didn't know about a certain need or how to accomdate the lesson for that. Students should also think about if it's something they want to share, while I would to be here for you, you may not be comfortable telling me everything anf that's okay.
