Tutoring will be provided by Kendall Rogers:

Hello, my name is Kendall Rogers. I graduated from Lincoln High School in 2018.

I came second in my class and had a 3.78 GPA. I graduated with honors,18 extracurricular

activities, played 5 sports, and managed to get over 4,000 hours of community service.

I currently attend Michigan State University with a major Kinesiology.

I am a member of the NSCS (National Society of Collegiate Scholars).

My goal is to help those in need of my tutoring services.

I want to brighten the minds of our future leaders.

I started tutoring in middle school and my one goal was to better my peers. Ever since then I have been in a mission to help others.

I have graduated from high school and I am a current college student. I have had honors courses. I have been tutoring for years and just this year I decided to start my business.

About the lesson

1. Gather information about the child (Strengths, Weaknesses, Preferable method of learning)

2. Contacting the teacher (Find out Grades, Policies, Resources)

3. Begin working with the child (Creating a schedule, reviewing all assignments, and get working)

I have worked with children with certain disabilities, but I do not specialize in it.

1. Make sure the teacher is a good fit.

2. Make a list of goals and see if they line up with your tutor's

3. Make sure your tutor is willing to have your back

My latest success story is my student Justin Coston. Before I started tutoring him he struggled in all classes and was not on track to do well in high school. Within a matter of three months Justin has a 4.0 GPA, he went from in person tutoring to just virtual, and he now has a passion to learn and I fully expect him to thrive in high school next year.
