About Mohamad

I hold a PhD and I pride myself with helping 10s of student excel and pass Math courses with A's and B's. I've been tutoring for more than 12 years and I have an excellent record with a customer satisfaction rate 98%-100% on various tutoring websites.

My tutoring methods involve direct engagement with the student to make sure he/she is really understanding what I am explaining. I assess the student on multiple levels before my sessions to understand how the student thinks. I can help on psychological as well as improve problem solving and analysis skills. Part of my approach involves provide real life scenarios where certain formulas are applied. This approach can associate abstract material to real life scenarios that makes sense to the student. Everything in Math is applied in our daily life but we are unaware of it. After most sessions, I assign few problems for the student to work on before our next session. This method affirms student understanding of the subjects covered.

I enjoy helping people and the comfort and happiness I see on parents' faces. It is just priceless!

I started by helping my classmates. I always had better understanding of the material and always felt at ease delivering the subject at hand in layman terms.

I hold a PhD and I am a professor. I have taught in class and online. I've also been tutoring for more than 14 years all math subjects from elementary to college including tests, such as SAT, GMAT, GED, ASVAB, and others.

About the lesson

My typical process involves understanding the student's personality and capabilities. The more honest the student is with me, the easier for me is to help. There are many factors involved in learning a topic. I'd like to understand how my students look at things in order for me to help them efficiently.

I've worked with a variety of students, including students with ADHD.

Each party should know its responsibilities. The same way a Tutor like me has a responsibility to work with you and make things clearer, the student has a responsibility towards themselves to work hard and follow the tutor's advices. The tutor can explain concepts, lower your anxiety, increase your confidence but at the end of the day, he can not take your exam. Therefore, dedication, practice, and hard work comes from your side. Also, it is very important for the student to like the tutor's personality and feel at ease when working together.

Most of my work ecperiences I am proud of. I always make a difference. The look at the parents' faces and their kids is priceless when their kids pass or score high grads on exams. I've pulled few good ones here and there with students who had F's and ended up with B's or students starting with C's and ending up with A's.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think deeply about the following questions:

What is the REAL problem? Is it me being lazy and not studying? Is it that I do not understand concepts discussed in class? Do I really grasp the material but then get anxious during exam time? What are my expectations from the tutor?
