About Rita
My name is Rita and currently I am a first year medical student at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in Harlem, NY. I attended CUNY Brooklyn College where I completed my major in Chemistry and History. While my expertise are in those subjects, I am also very comfortable in helping you with math, biology, biochemistry, anatomy, writing, personal statements for college/grad school, or general studying/management skills.
I love teaching! I have tons of experience working with various age groups, ranging from middle school students to college students. In college, I was a TA for general chemistry and my previous job involved teaching STEM electives to middle school students. Currently, I am involved in mentoring high school students interested in a pre-med track.
I began tutoring in 2013 as a high student for other students at my school, hence I have a lot of experience and I love teaching!
