About Sixian
First, I am patient and passionate at teaching. I have dealt with students with different personalities, and I know how to productively communicate with them.
In terms of teaching method, I would tailor my lessoon accoridng to a student's need and his/her weaknesses in learning a language.
I am a third year student studying applied psychology at New York University (NYU).
I volunteered teaching at an elementary school ranging from pre-school to grade 6. And that was an exciting experience for me! Since then, I've started tutoring duirng the weekends.
I have volunteered teaching at an elementary school. I am now a junior studying applied psychology at NYU.

I'd love to get to know hiim/her first. Then, I would ask for their weaknesses in terms of learning a language and how would they like to get started with first. I would gradually form a teaching strategy tailored to the student's characterstics.
