About Annabella
My service stands out because I am currently in school. Therefore, what I teach will be fresh in my mind. I am always ahead in school, especially in math. My teachers say that I'm one of their best students. Also, I'm an Honors student, as well as in AVID.
There are many reasons I love the work I do. For one, I love helping people succeed. I care about everyone, and want them to do well in life. I believe that knowledge is meant to be shared.
I got started teaching from personal experience. Some time during when elementary school began, I was known as one of the smart kids. A few kids started asking if I could help them with some of the problems on their math or english classwork/homework. I did just that. People have continued coming to me since then.
I have mastered all areas at and below my grade level. Currently (2019-2020), I'm in 8th grade. I tutor kids throughout the school in english and science, but mostly math.

My typical process for working with a new student is to get to know a little bit about them and then start with the basics of the topic, and get more complex as we go. I teach them little by little. Once they have mastered one bit, we move on to the other. As soon as we're done, we review and I give them a practice problem or two depending on their comprehension of the area. They are free to ask questions throughout the lesson.
I've worked with students who want to learn.

Recently, my class and I were learning about finding, graphing, and solving y=mx+b. More than half the class came to me, asking how to do it. Of course, I helped them all.
