About Faris

I am a graduate of Blue Valley Southwest High School who will be attending Stanford University in the fall. I took 12 AP classes with a 36 on the ACT and a 1560 on the SAT. I also got 800s on both the Math 2 and the Physics SAT Subject tests. I also took the highest level of calculus offered at my school. In terms of standardized testing, I have helped students of all abilities improve their scores.

I find that helping others reach their goals is mot only fulfilling, but also extremely rewarding. Every student has the capacity to learn any subject (yes, even math), and I have found that most times it is a lack of self-belief that makes students struggle. Helping them solve those first couple problems and watching them do the rest is truly an amazing feeling.
