As a Christian, I love to serve other people, it is a core value in my principles!

It is a joy for me to be able to share knowledge and skills to you that may help you for the rest of your life.

Here are some of the value I can provide you in our tutoring sessions:

-Provide academic tutoring at an advanced level to a variety of individuals and groups.

-Create and implement tutorial programs that guide and assist students.

-Provide proactive and ongoing student retention services to students needing assistance.

-Conduct supplemental instruction sessions.

-Coordinate the activities of assigned personnel and oversee the completion of tasks.

-Evaluate student needs and develop appropriate course of action.

-Draft materials and handouts to be used within an assigned instructional session.

-Maintain records and data to monitor and assess students’ progress.

I started tutoring math at my community college in Seattle, Washington; back in 2013. Since then, I have been passionate about helping students take on science and engineering classes, and ace their assignments and finals.

I maintained a 3.7 average GPA in College Maths all the way up until Calculus 2, and graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from University of California, San Diego in 2017.

About the lesson

My process with working with a new student is to help you understand concepts starting from math principles you already know. This means I make sure that you understand the concepts behind a question before we jump into the general question itself. This helps us have a good understanding of where I can provide the most value and help you pick up concepts and apply them succesfully, even when working on your own.

I have worked with mostly college students, and interested to work with younger students to encourage them to attend college and look into careers in science, technology and engineering.

Olasubomi helped me motivated me to get my grade up to a C, I believe I could have finished with an A or B had I seemed help earlier. I strongly recommend Olasubomi to any struggling college students at their lowest or if you would like a head start in your class at the beginning, he tackles all areas and leaves nothing untouched making sure you understand and are learning as you go.
