About Tashe

I have a bachelor degree in Accounting. I began my career in public accounting and decided to tutor students in similar subject areas. I have been tutoring for 9 months consistently, ages 7-adult in math and accounting.

I love taking the challenge out of math. Most students don’t have a consistent way of learning, thus causing frustration. My solution is usually to make real life, fun, memorable examples and ways of learning.

I started teaching informally as a teenager when I worked at after school and summer camp programs. I have always been passionate about not only learning, but sharing that information with others. Teaching has always come very naturally to me and so does working with youth. 



My degree is in a mathematical/financial field (Accounting) and I have worked with children for many years in academic and recreational capacities. I have been tutoring for over 5 years with all ages and grade levels.

My first goal is to understand how the student likes to learn and what is most effective for them. I then get a better understanding of the area(s) causing challenges. By giving 1-3 example problems in the challenged area, I can usually detect the pattern that is stopping the student from understanding coursework 



I have worked with all students including those with advancements and learning disabilities.



I would advise the student to choose a teacher that makes them comfortable. Learning should not be a stressful task and if the choice is yours, you'll definitely want to work with someone who understands you well and vice versa.

You want to make sure your teacher actually knows where you need assistance and is able to use your time together effectively. It's important that your sessions are tailored specifically to you and your needs.
