About Nicole

I have been tutoring professionally for 6 years and I tutor students in Grades 2 through 12 at this time. I am a special education teacher and currently teach middle school Math to 7th and 8th graders. I am dependable, keep comprehensive notes on each session and use different resources to help students achieve their best. I am aware that each student learns in different ways and at a different pace and each session is tailored to the child in question. I am available at the following days and times: Mondays: 5PM-630PM and Saturdays 4:30PM-6:00 PM

It is very rewarding watching comprehension dawn on the face of a student who was confused and now finally understands.

I enjoy watching a student's response go from being a hesitant question to a definitive answer because they are now confident in the knowledge that they now have.

I have always loved teaching and after working in corporate America for 24 years, I resigned from the company and decided to pursue my passion.

I have been a tutor for over 4 years and have been a special education teacher since September of 2018.

About the lesson

I first test the student on aspects of Math that he or she should have already mastered to get an understanding if there are any gaps in the learning.

Once that information has been ascertained a program is set up to help the student master their current curriculum while filling in the gaps that exist.
