About Lashondra
Hello! It gives me great pleasure to report that I have begun tutoring students in Pre-K through 8th grade. Math tutoring for students in grades 9 through 12 is also something I do. I am a teacher that has been in the classroom for more than ten years and am currently working for my degree in mathematics.
Whatever service you require, I promise to not only meet but also surpass your expectations and get your complete pleasure.

My high school's ELA teacher was a true inspiration to me, and she is one of the main reasons I decided to pursue a career in education. I aspired to instill these qualities in my own classroom because of her capacity to mentor pupils, her fairness, and her sense of justice.
With a 3.4 GPA and a degree in mathematics, I will leave Southern New Hampshire University in three months. Strong communication and writing abilities, which are essential for teaching and tutoring, will be provided by my mathematics degree.

For younger students (elementary school), I prefer to start with a package of books that includes enjoyable songs, technical improvement, and music theory. I firmly believe that young kids learn best when their courses follow a familiar format and when practice requirements are made plain.
I like to begin with a talk about goals with older kids (teenagers and adults). Then I may suggest specific books that will aid them in developing the talents they are most interested in.

Ask for constructive criticism: Instead of letting advice and criticism make you feel bad, use them to advance your career. The best educators are constantly looking to grow and learn. Be Sincere: You will obtain more from your students if you are courteous and respectful to them.
Parents of my students frequently tell me that their kids feel safe and loved in my classroom. As someone who grew up in a family that struggled financially, I am constantly looking out for signs that a youngster may be hungry, exhausted, or in need. One sixth-grade student who was nasty and belligerent all the time attracted my attention when I first started teaching. Every week, I kept him after school for an hour, but instead of giving him punishment, I asked him to assist me in organizing the classroom and planning the following day's lessons. I could tell that all he wanted to do was talk. He thanked me for my assistance and invited me to his high school graduation last year.
