About Michelle
Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trig & Pre-calc
SAT & ACT Math
I enjoy helping math students absorb and retain key algebraic concepts for better test performance and homework mastery. It gives me satisfaction as a mentor to see my students overcome conceptual difficulties and see that success is within their reach. Tutoring is an ongoing diagnostic process to clarify math concepts and retain solution strategies.
I started tutoring in college.
I studied at University of Pennsylvania and took pre-med classes and have been tutoring math since as a side gig. I thoroughly enjoy helping students develop confidence in their ability to master math concepts and solution strategies. I also love to help students enjoy the learning process to apply a growth-oriented mindset.

As a private math tutor with over a decade of experience, I help students work through algebra problems step-by-step. I help identify what concepts math students struggle with and guide them as they practice problem-solving skills for better retention.
Mostly middle school and high school, but occasionally adult learners.

I have 4 teenagers and Michelle has been tutoring my 2 oldest occasionally when needed. My daughters are in college level classes while attending high school. Michelle makes sure my girls feel comfortable and is great with communicating me and letting me know how they are doing and if they may need another session. She even reaches out afterwards to see how they are doing.
