About Erin
Hi! My name is Erin and I am a history student at the University of Manchester. I’m a very friendly, patient, and enthusiastic tutor who genuinely really enjoys helping others learn and grow. I want to teach because I know from personal experience in education up until university how rewarding it can be when a difficult topic finally starts to make sense, and I’d love to help students experience that feeling too!
My lessons are relaxed, supportive, and tailored to each student. Whether you’re looking to improve your understanding, build confidence, or simply get some extra support, I’ll work with you to make sure you feel comfortable and make steady progress.

My approach to tutoring is friendly, patient, and tailored to each student’s individual needs. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel more than comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their confidence. I like to adapt my lessons to suit different learning styles, while keeping sessions engaging, focused, and enjoyable for each student. Most importantly, I want students to leave each lesson feeling that they have made real progress and are leaving more confident in their abilities!
