About Brad
Lutz Running and Lake Cities XC have a history of developing outstanding distance runners that go on to have excellent high school careers, and at present, 91 runners coming out of our programs have run or are currently running in college. We have produced both team and individual national champions thru both AAU and USATF. 72 of our runners have achieved Junior Olympic All-American status since 2004.
Watching a runner improve over over time ... gaining confidence in their ability to push through tough workouts and become both physically and mentally stronger is great to watch. This tends to lead to better performance in the classroom.

When a new runner starts with either our team or as a private lesson, we go thru an assessment to determine our proper starting point. Running mechanics, foot strike, use of arms, proper shoes, etc. We go thru nutrition, sleep habits, and other activities the runner is involved in.
