Austin has improved so much, due to his voice lessons with Gretchen--in every area of his school subjects. But I think the biggest area is self confidence, which of course, carries over into the vocals.

Even though my husband still does not have a job, we plan on Austin continuing in lessons with Gretchen somehow. He's giving up piano before voice!

Kayla and her classmates lost their middle school music teacher last year. One thing I was really worried about is whether Kayla would be well prepared to sing at solo at the State Music Teacher annual competition this year. But then we found Gretchen. I'm so proud of how my daughter, Melissa, has done in school this first semester. I'm thankful for how much Gretchen has helped Melisa. Her improvement in her singing really has helped her overall self image. That's a gift from God and we sincerely thank Gretchen for being the conduit. I fully intended. but obviously forgot. to tell Gretchen about the ADHD (attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder) that my daughter lives with. Gretchen's hard work with Annie has given her new confidence and a greater ability and reason to focus in a more concentrated way for longer times. Her music lessons with Gretchen are definitely helping the ADHD--a minor miracle! Our whole family is so grateful to Gretchen!

My name is Russell and I’m from Denmark. I’ve been singing on and off since I was a kid and I’m 22 years old today. Just a few weeks ago, I decided to start taking singing more seriously. This led me to ask some questions on Quora.com regarding my singing voice type, which Miss Gretchen Greenfield kindly and thoughtfully replied to.

Over the course of the past few weeks, Miss Greenfield has been very helpful to me, helping me deal with allergies that have been interfering with my singing, making me cough, blocking off nasal air flow. She’s also been helping me build a proper breathing technique for singing and helping me improve my singing technique over all. Miss Greenfield is always giving me fantastic and helpful advice, every time we work together. After talking with her, I’ve gotten a really clear picture of how I should be training my singing next.
