About
Hello! My name is Philip, and I’m located in Manhattan Beach and Venice, CA. I hold a master's degree in film composition and music production, as well as a bachelor's degree in bassoon performance from the Eastman School of Music. I also teach band at the elementary schools in the Manhattan Beach school district. Since moving to LA, I've performed in numerous studio sessions for films, conducted the LA Philharmonic Orchestra, and produced music for contestants on NBC's "The Voice."
I specialize in personalized music education, offering beginner to expert lessons in singing, flute, clarinet, bassoon, saxophone, music theory/composition, and music production.
With a focus on individual strengths and goals, my teaching philosophy ensures that each student receives tailored instruction that fosters growth and creativity from the first lesson. By blending fundamental skills and technique with fun in every lesson, I nurture a learning environment that has every student fall in love with their instrument.
Feel free to contact me to take the next steps in your musical journey!
