About Dee
I have over 5 years of hands on nursing with the majority of it being within the ER. In addition, I am currently in school myself for my masters degree for my Family Nurse Practitioner! I understand your struggles and frustrations and I want to help you become the collegue I want to work with!
First and foremost I love nursing. It is more than a job to me, its my passion. Secondly, I love to teach! From nursing students to new gradute nurses all the way to experienced nurses being trained to critical care and trauma areas, I love seeing the 'light bulb' go off when learning things!
I have been a registered nurse for over 5.5 years. During this time I have working in cardiology and the emergency department. I am currently completing my masters degree for my Family Nurse Practitioner!

First, I want to get to know who you are! What makes you excited to learn or where do you want to be moving forward? Next, it is really important for me to understand what your learning style may be. If you require extra visual aids, I can find high quality material to support your learning needs.
I have worked with many nursing students and new gradute nursing students within various settings and primarily within the emergency room. Teaching the basics of nursing all the way through critical care and trauma is really exciting for me!
As a student, taking the first step for extra help can be challenging and intimidating! Understand your weak areas and be open minded to new techniques to master the material!
