About Sandra
I love nursing and want to teach the next generation of nurses in an online format. I specialize in Community Health Nursing and Infectious Disease Nursing. Students, I want to help you pass your courses and pass the NCLEX! Having earned my MSN in Nursing Education from Colorado Technical University online in June 2021, I am ready to teach and tutor. I have been an RN for 20 years and previously was an LPN for 18 years. I passed the National League for Nursing, (NLN) certification for Certified Nurse Educator. Most of my RN career was in Public Health Nursing.
I passed the Certified Nurse Educator, (CNE) test administered by National League for Nursing, (NLN). I taught LPN's for 4 months after graduating with my MSN in Nursing Education in an online course. As a Community Health nurse for 13 plus years, I have done lots of patient teaching.

This is my first time tutoring, I have been in the classroom teaching Licensed Practical Nurses. I start by learning about my students and their learning styles, as well as their exposure to the subject. I emphasize that I learn from the students and the students learn from me, as we are all adult learners.

Details
I charge anywhere from $35-$45 per/ hour. I would like to know the students needs 24 hours before by email, so that I could prepare an appropriate lesson to meet the need of the student. My job would be to supplement their schooling and to answer questions to help the student pass the test, write the paper or get through clinical rotation.
