About Angel
Malika Ayyubi is a contemporary artist and Islamic calligrapher with decades of experience creating and teaching art. Working with mixed media, acrylic abstract applications, and traditional Arabic calligraphy techniques, Malika Arts beautifully unifies timeless Islamic artform with a modern, fine art aesthetic. Her unique designs are invitingly fresh, alluring, and divinely inspired.
I have spent 10 plus years cultivating my craft as an artist. I've worked with Ann Arbor public library and studied under renowned artist Khalid Al-Saii.

I realize that while creating art comes easy for some, for others it's a process of learning, being coached and and finally discovering what is beautiful and artistic for them personally. Such a vulnerable process needs a teacher in touch with this realty. I like to provide my students with a foundation of knowledge and care to bolster confidence to go forward as a blooming artist!
