About Erika

My approch is different then most who teach Art since my focus is to help heal the person who is feelig emotinally down for what ever reason at this point in their life. I want to help them bring out their create abilities and just have fun.

I encourage everyone to paint what they want and not what I want you to paint. That approach helps you to learn and have fun at the same time. You will be surprised each time what you able to create.

Bringing a smile to someone as they see what they are able to create. To help individuals, regardless of age, develop a love for painting and along the way find their own style.

I have taken several colledge classes in art when I was young and taken several workshops with a very famous artist in Buffalo, NY. I do not have a formal art degree but have been painting since I was 20 years old and have always strived to push myself in new directions.

I have won several art awards during my years of painting.

I also won an International Art Award in 2018. My art has been dispalyed in several art galleries through the years including in New York City.

About the lesson

First and formost I want my students to feel comfortable with me---so I will tell them about my art journey and of course ask them what they hope to accomplish by working with me--

I am giving art lessons to give back to the community plus I have always wanted to be a teacher so I feel this will be a good fit for me---

I am currently only charging $5 per hour and that would be for any small expenses----
