About Zac
Fitness Gear & Training, established in 1989, is a second generation family business offering Specialty Fitness Equipment Sales, Delivery & Service for the Home, Office or Gym. In addition, we offer a multitude of holisitic, sustainable Wellness Programs from Private, Couples & Small Group Personal Training in 30 or 60 minute sessions. Our very own 30-Minute Fit group fitness program, a group fitness program designed to create a private experience. And cross-over packages between the two training modalities. In addition we offering coaching to all of our clients around any aspect of wellness from the psychology of, to training, nutrition and more. Lastly we offer corporate wellness consulting in the form of modular and customized programs as well as wellness keynote speeches.
I have been a part of the fitness/wellness industry, formally, since 2004 however I was born and raised with fitness equipment as my playground. I did not initially intend to pursue a career in the fitness/wellness industry but after sustaining a football injury that ultimately left me with the title of "permanent partial disability" the injury became a catalyst to pursue healthier, more sustainable practices. I strongly believe that most fitness/wellness programs today are not fitness/wellness done well and are predicated upon the American Mindset, "quick fix" and "magic pill" ideologies as opposed to teaching holistic, sustainable practices. That is what we are about at Fitness Gear & Training (FGT). Teaching our clients how to create sustainable habits that ultimately transcend into a lifestyle, then begin to build upon the next. Wellness isn't about perfection, its about moderation, and creating the best version of YOU!
