About Sherry
Hi there! My name is Sherry and I am a compassionate and results-driven health and fitness professional with 10+ years' experience in assessment, prescription, and application of therapeutic and performance-based exercise and health coaching services.
Whether you're trying to lose weight, resume activity after an illness or injury, or to gain support for improving lifestyle behaviors, I can help.
• B.A. in English, M.A. in Education, M.S. in Exercise Science
• Current certifications in health coaching, personal training, medical exercise, sports nutrition, yoga, and general group fitness instruction
• In-person, telephonic, and virtual health, fitness, and wellness services
• Excellent communication skills and strong ability to succeed independently as well as to respectfully interface with professionals on a multidisciplinary team
• Enthusiastic group fitness instruction: yoga, group cycle, aqua fitness, circuit training, dance fitness, etc.
• Comfortable working with individuals, as well as small, moderate, and large-size groups
• Experience providing ergonomic and body composition assessments to create health and fitness plans for improving fitness, health, and wellness outcomes
• Comfortable working with individuals, as well as small, moderate, and large-size groups
• Public speaking skills, along with creation and presentation of health, fitness and wellness topics
