First session: I want to hear from students. I need to understand their needs, obstacles, and desired outcomes from our work together.
We will make a mutual plan for success from their insights.
I will offer appropriate assessments to diagnose their needs and give interpretations of the results.
Second session: We will advance the plan with assignments and discussions.
If scholarly writing is a part of the plan, I will review and give suggestions using the APA style for edits.
From these we will evaluate progress and goals to affirm the student progress and needs.
