Experienced tutor in Photography in Dobbs Ferry, Nicholas offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I have known Nick both as an accomplished artist and also as a trusted professional. Nick's photographs have been part of the annual Dobbs Ferry Beaux Arts exhibit, which I chair. His work is, simply, outstanding and he has often taken first place in the annual competition. His generous and kind nature has also added a positive energy to the event.

Based on his outstanding work and easy going personality I hired him to photograph some of my paintings for a national art magazine. I had a lot riding on the photos of the paintings that would accompany the article. I needed an excellent photographer who understood the requirements of fine art photography and would deliver a very professional result. That was Nick. He was fantastic and a joy to work with! .

I took photography lessons from Nick over the years, and his lessons and mentoring were golden. I shot my first wedding many years ago with Nick. He is a highly accomplished and experienced photographer. I liked that he shot weddings back in the film days, way before digital cameras, so that skillful knowledge and respect for the craft runs deep. His lessons gave me the confidence to get into wedding photography several years ago and I shoot 30-40 weddings per year. He demonstrated lighting techniques and proper use of strobes and exposure which was a huge benefit when I began as a wedding second shooter and eventually moving to first shooter these days.
I'm where I am in my photography career today because of all those valuable lessons and mentoring from Nick.

Nick was very professional and very encouraging. He is enthusiastic about his work and has much knowledge that he is willing to share.
