About Wayne

As a Minnesota based photographer and artist, Wayne focuses his skills and energies on landscape, cityscape and architectural fine art photography.

His best work comes from images first painted in his mind. He mulls over a prospective image for weeks or months, seeing it from different angles and perspectives, then finally deciding what to capture, he takes action. The result is images that deeply touch a person's emotions and powerfully evoke memories and dreams.

His images are used commercially by companies and organizations ranging from Financial Services firms, mom and pop Ice Cream shops and The Basilica of St Mary. The images are used to communicate their shared vision and values. Book, magazine and calendar publishers have featured his images in their publications and on their covers. His photographs also grace and enhance the décor of many fine homes.

I enjoy the creative process, turning a vision into a work of art. Nothing beats moving people with the marvel of the art you have created.

I have so many fans following my photography and then they started begging me for lessons to teach my techniques and style.

I have been teaching photographers for several years now with incredible results. Taking students from rank amatur all the way to the professional level.

About the lesson

I spend time with my students getting to know their skills, then I get to know their dreams and passions for their photography. All of my classes are designed specifically for the individual student.

From beginner all the way to professional.

Read your camera manual and get to know her camera exceedingly well.

Recently I've been doing photography tours for Capella Tower in the Minneapolis. They manage all the details of the large event and I can just be the teacher of the students as we walk around the city.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students need to really think about what they want to get out of their photography. The clearer they are with their weaknesses and knowing exactly what they want to learn, the easier it will be to build those skills quickly.

Perfect! I met Wayne in downtown Minneapolis and we walked and talked as it was an exceptional fall day. I had some past photography “skills” but had let them slip into full auto shooting settings over the years. Wayne helped my re-establish some baseline fundamentals and then gave me some homework. I’m getting comfortable with aperture priority and depth-of-field photographs. I’ll be using Wayne for several more lessons until I feel an acceptable level of proficiency.
