The small class size enabled a lot of personalized instruction and encouraged participation. The technical aspects of the class were introduced visually and then demonstrated with "hands-on" exercises. Learning the concepts by actually doing the activities with your own camera led to better comprehension. I had been involved in film photography many years ago and wanted to get up to speed on digital photography. This class helped me to feel comfortable with digital photography in a short period of time and I am now really enjoying my camera. I am very happy to have found the Katydid Photo School.
