About Rita

I have mentored over hundreds of photographers, from all experience levels, in basic camera skills to niches like portraiture, weddings, and live music.

I am a photography contributor for Getty Images and official photographer and crew mentor for the huge SXSW event each spring in Austin TX. My work has been featured in Rolling Stone, The Guardian, and Vanity Fair.

More than anything I love helping others master to their camera so they can unleash their own creativity.

Personally, I have photographed over 200 weddings, 500 portrait sessions, and have over 12 years professional photography experience.

I travel full-time in a motorhome touring the US with my husband, our two dogs, and our two cats.

Over 12 years working as a full-time professional photographer. Specialize in portraits, weddings, and events.

About the lesson

Your goals are my goals. First we will discover what you want to photograph then work together to make that happen to your personal satisfication. I work with all levels from very beginner to advanced. I take a gentle non-judgemental approach while challenging you to reach outside your comfort zone a little.
