About Sylvia

Hello and nice to see you here! I am doing my Doctorate in Piano Performance at the University of Michigan School of Music on full scholarship, while serving as a Graduate Student Instructor teaching private lessons, group lessons, and doing piano accompanying.

I have gathered valuable teaching experiences through the past 9 years teaching students of all levels (beginner to very advanced) and ages (4-year-old to adult) since my undergraduate.

About the lesson

I would assess the student's current level of playing and then design my teaching for him/her. I would also need to know the student's personality to make sure our work is pleasant and always productive.

Levels: beginner to highly advanced

Age: 4-year-old to adult

A student needs a well-experienced teacher, who is passionate, loving, caring, understanding, and always prepared, and most importantly, of the highest professionalism and successes.
