About David
Teaching students is so rewarding, especially when they really get it and you can see the light go on! Being a small part of their lives and them a part of mine!
Getting to know kids and what makes them tick is what I enjoy most. Whether or not they stick with piano is really not the most important thing, it's making a difference.
I have a B.A. in music and a Master in Music Education as well as 30 years teaching experience

I ask how much experience with piano they have to get an idea of where they are, and to bring any books they have. If they are brand new, that's fairly easy! Then we meet and I ask him or her to play something they know, and we go from there!
