About Matilde

An energetic teacher met with fun learning styles provides a modern and unique approach to learning traditional music. As a classically trained violinist, Matilde has learned incredibly sound techniques and has since branched into more modern and electric violin playing. This provides her with a unique approach to teaching the violin, giving her students a fun outlet to play both classical and modern music while maintaing important techniques.

I absolutely love inspiring and helping students to grow their love for music. Music plays such a huge role in my life and I want as many people to feel that same sunshine that I do.

I began teaching beginner lessons becuase I want to be a full time teacher one day.

I have studied violin for 12 years and have had private teaching experience throughout. I now attend the esteemed Berklee College of Music as a duel performance and music education major.

About the lesson

Upon recieving a new student, I evaluate their level of playing and introduce methods and concepts that will help them grow. I like to fuse both important technique work and more fun pieces to emphasize falling in love with music rather than it being a chore.

I have worked with beginner and intermediate students from kids to young adults.
