About Christina

I'm currently a college student at UOP, majoring in piano performance and also have a lot of experience in music theory, music history, and diatonic harmony, etc. I'm also bilingual (in English and Chinese) with a great experience with kids.

I currently have 3 students and I started two years ago by teaching private lessons. I've been playing piano for over 13 years.

I passed the ABRSM Exams before going into highschool, and is currently training for performances later on in my career.

I'm in college and is graduating in '22, I'm a piano major and I have many years of experience in theory. I also worked as being a teacher at care centers so I'm good with kids.

About the lesson

The first lesson is always finding out where the student is and their level in music so we have a clue on where to start. I would ask the student if they have any goals they want to achieve or a subject they really want to learn about and we usually start from whatever the student already knows. If he/she have no experience we just start from the very beginning.

I mainly work with kids from age 4-9, I don't have too much experience with adult learners.
