About Kendrick

Everyone has different goals when it comes to learning how to play a musical instrument. Some students want to be excellent at reading music, others simply want to play songs they like. Some students want to prepare for music college, while other students are retirees who just want to have some fun. Different goals require different approaches. And different approaches sometimes require different instructors!

It is my job as a piano instructor to find out what your needs are, and help guide you towards that goal. And if I am not the right fit for that purpose, to suggest what you should look for instead. I do not charge for first lessons if we are not compatible.

I have been teaching students for 20 years now, and I have the experience to help you attain your goals, or suggest a different one based on my evaluation.

For students who want certificates to track their progress, I will prepare them for ABRSM Performance Grades exams.

As far as my musical background go,

I have always enjoyed playing different genres of music. I graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA with a degree in Piano Performance (summa cum laude).
