About Kristen
Hello! My teaching focuses on my student's strengths and reasons for learning, and I have 3 years of experience teaching piano, both online and in person. I have been playing piano for 12 years now, since the age of 6 and have competed internationally. I am super passionate about teaching music, and believe that everyone can learn if they want. While technique is important, I believe that artistry and developing personal playing styles are equally as important. Aside from piano, I have a background in cello, ensemble playing and accompaniment, as well as music theory.
I am looking forward to fostering a love for music in my students with an encouraging teaching style!
