About Ignacio

I started teaching as an assistant teacher for Victoria Lorente in Valencia (Spain). As a former student from her class I helped young violinist with technical and postural work.

I've teached along my career as a musician. Teaching from school kids to amateur adults who want to step into music world. Always focusing on each kind of needs and pushing to achieve their goals.

I have studied my Bachelor and Master degrees in Belgium, in the Institute Supérieur de Musique et Pédagogie de Namur. I have studied with Marc Danel, first violin of "Quatuor Danel".

I have enlarged my contemporary music knowledge in Lyon (France) in the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et Danse de Lyon, studying violin with Marie Charvet and Nicolas Miribel.

In 2016 I started a long collaboration with Manchester City University, premiering solo violin pieces from students and building extended techniques workshops for music composition students

About the lesson

Adapting to the student needs is never a short-term goal. Focusing on each student goals is always my first priority, trying to adapt my lessons to every specific demand.

We will start by setting an organic approach to the instrument and we will the discuss on short, mid and long-term goals so motivation never falls down as the student is always improving step by step.

I have worked from very early ages to adults.

A teacher is there to answer ALL your questions regarding your instrument, playing and the music you play.

Look for someone with whom you feel comfortable while learning and which encourages you to keep practicing and improving.

I have recently founded SciFi Ensemble, an film score and videogame music specialized ensemble formed by a string quartet with percussion that mixes the best music from movies, tv series and videogames with the fantasy of FX Makeup and Cosplay.

You can find more about SciFi Ensemble here:

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
As previously exposed, a teacher should be able to answer every question related to the instrument, playing, style, technique, etc. In other words, everything linked with the music.
