About Rachel

I usually travel to my students for in home teaching.

I have added a picture of the book I use to teach beginners. After that, I switch to level 2-3 of the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum.

I have been playing piano since five years old, and I've had two of the best teachers who have motivated and supported me in my journey as a musician.

I hope to inspire others the way my teachers have inspired me.

I am currently on level 8 with the Royal Conservatory of Music. I have been playing piano since I was 5 years old.

About the lesson

I typically assess whether or not they have previous piano knowledge and/or experience, and go on from there.

If the student has no experience, that gives the opportunity to have an in depth lesson and a solid foundation to build on.

If the student does have experience, the lesson will be a breeze and we will advance on to the next level.

Absolutely anyone can learn piano, as long as they have the passion and discipline to apply themselves. You can do it! 😊🎶

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I usually recommend taking the time to think about whether or not this is for you. Piano is not just a hobby, it's a discipline. It takes time, passion, and hard work.

In order to prevail, you will need a good piano and the time to practice everyday. It may seem daunting at first because of the skill needed, but it takes time to see progress.

Decide if this is really somwthing you wish to accomplish. If so, I'd be honored to assist and guide you on your new, musical adventure.
