About Lindsey
Hello!! Do you have a child that is ready for piano lessons, or are you an adult who has always wanted to learn but just haven't had the opportunity? Well now is the time! I have been giving piano lessons for over 10 years, from young beginners to senior beginners. As a child, all I wanted was to learn how to play the piano, and as a teacher my favorite thing is being able to give a student the joy of playing music! My goal is to teach a student the skills needed to play for a lifetime.
I taught in a piano studio for about 5 years, and have been an independent teacher ever since. I now teach out of my home, which gives students a relaxed, comfortable learning environment. While I do not have a degree in music, I have taught advanced students as well as led group Theory classes. I try to include Musical Theory, the foundation of how music works, in each lesson I teach. I work hard to help each student learn to read music, which gives them the ability to play music for a lifetime! I also have a rewards program for my younger students!!
