About Chris

I’ve been playing the piano publically since I was a teenager. In addition, I’ve been teaching piano for 18 years. I have played for numerous large churches, small churches, weddings, corporate parties, restaurants, retreats, school programs and even accompanied a soloist for a Broadway audition.

I have been teaching via Skype and FaceTime for a decade. My students live all around the world. One is in Africa, one in the Middle East while another is as close as Allen but hates to fight rush hour traffic driving to a lesson. A lesson from my music studio to your home is merely a phone call away.

Piano/keyboard/synthesizer students and vocal students perform in schools, churches and community theatres .

It is my goal to share my love for music with my students. Lessons should not be a chore or dreaded. We have fun learning current music that appeals to the student along with the basic lesson book songs.

My best friend moved into my neighborhood. She asked me to give her daughter piano lessons. It was a very fun time and I found that I loved teaching piano.

I took piano lessons throughout elementary school until I was out of college. Even had lessons in Nashville. Nashville Music is written in numbers verses traditional sheet music that is recognized world wide.

About the lesson

I access the student and work with them to accomplish their goal at the appropriate skill level.

Students have ranged from kindergartens to doctors and engineers.

I love watching my students succeed and grow into artists.
