About the lesson

We begin my playing chords by rote in addition to learning how to read notes using simple Rhythm patterns. Traditional melodies are also introduced. This helps the students see the connection and how the whole process works. At some point student might wish to make up his her own music. Improvising, reading music, play music by ear, performance and memorizing music are all essential for making music. Probably the most important of all is being able to communicate and express feelings.
