About Sandra

Miss Sandy has a Master's Degree in Piano Pedagogy in Performance and has years of experience teaching students from beginner to advanced.

She teaches private lessons in person and online, as well as group workshop classes and college courses.

Also an avid performer, Sandy is currently a doctoral student at Bowling Green State University, pursuing her Doctorate in Contemporary Music Performance.

About the lesson

Our first lesson will typically begin by discussing the student's goals:

-what type of music do you want to play?

-do you have any previous musical experience?

-what level of commitment to practicing are you willing to give?

There are no right or wrong answers to any of these questions! Each student is unique, and I like to take time in the first lesson to create goals that are realistic and motivating for both of us.

I have worked with students as young as 4, as well as adult beginner students of all ages in both private lesson and group class settings. I also teach collegiate level courses such as class piano and piano sightreading.

Do you prefer in person lessons or online lessons?
