About Eileen

Music is meant to be shared and is known to be a universal language, as it is loved by billions of people around the world. Every person who has a passion or desire to learn music and advance through the field by delivering their sound to others will be able to make their sound known to the world.

I have been learning the piano for 12 years since the age of 5. I won two first place awards in American Protege International Music Talent Competition and Golden Classical International Competition. In recognition of my talent at the competitions, I performed at Carnegie Hall in 2016 and 2017. I also won third place in VIVO International Piano Competition. Additionally, I have experience in hosting recitals at senior centers, as well as managing brochures, certificates, and such.

If you are a complete amateur at piano, I am more than happy to teach you the basics of music theory and performance.

I personally enjoy working with children and people who are seeking to learn more about music. I believe that music connects everyone no matter what genre or situation. Music brings life and energy to their day. I, myself, also learn more about music as I delve more into the aspects of teaching and discovering methods to help remove bad habits most people experience when practicing and performing.

I have been a student for 12 years at Sheve Hwa-Su's studio in Irvine, CA since the age of 5 and have worked along with her in producing recitals.

About the lesson

If you are interested in learning piano, please email me at (concealed information) to discuss you or your child's current level and availability. We will plan what focus you want whether it be performance, music theory, or both as well as the schedule for each week.

I have worked with an elementary student who had very little prior knowledge about the basic fundamentals. In order to create a foundation for her piano journey, I taught her hand formations, simple rhythmic theory, and notes while starting with a first level piano book. I would assign the student 2-3 songs to practice every week and depending on the performance in the next lesson, I would treat her with a prize or a sticker as a reward for her efforts.
