About Hannah

Hi! My name is Hannah and I'm a recent high-school graduate with an International Baccalaureate diploma and extensive music background! I'd love to tutor for piano (including music theory. Entry-level or Beginner), Spanish (Entry-level, Beginner, or Intermediate), and Biology.

I love music, Spanish, and biology, and I love seeing my students fall in love with them too! I love seeing them get engaged with it and I want them to have fun.

By teaching friends and family!

MUSIC:

I love music! I've been playing the piano and violin for over 10 years and I have extensive music theory knowledge! I've won multiple piano/music awards, I was my school's jazz pianist for 7 years, I played in the Wichita Symphony Youth Orchestra (5 yrs), and have been an orchestra section leader for over 2 years.

SPANISH:

¡Hola! I've been taking Spanish since 2015 and have completed the Spanish 5 curriculum. As an IB student, I took the IB HL Spanish exam.

About the lesson

I always start by gauging their current abilities and understandings!

I first want to know their motivations for learning (so that I can best align my teaching plan to fit their goals as well as build a connection and a friendship!) and how they learn best! (Ex: For visual learners (like myself), I will prepare visual diagrams and aids.)

MUSIC: I have worked with multiple entry-level and beginner children (9-12), teens (14-19), and adults(40-60) with no/little musical background!

SPANISH: I have tutored other high schoolers in Spanish!
