About Julia

Who I am: An (concealed information) Force to be Reckoned with!

What I do: Transform and Heal through Awareness.

What I want: To teach an have fun with people who are interested in moving their body, learning, and growing.

Born in Queens, NY, I AM New York. I graduated Cum Laude from Queens College with a B.A. in Dance. Following graduation, I received a certification in Romana’s Pilates as an Instructor, Level 5. My further work with Romana’s Pilates has lead me to a Level 4 status, meaning I am a “teacher of teachers”, I help to certify apprentices. I have been certified for 15 years, practicing Romana’s Pilates two years before receiving assessment into the program. I am additionally certified in RE:Union Process Kinesiology of seven years. It is a deep form of meditation that peels layers of mind/body decay off of the psyche. I am also an avid user of essential oils and Young Living distributor of five years. I am currently practicing spiritual healing with Pat Longo.

I feel free and brave when I teach, and I intoxicate others with the same feeling. Pilates is a mind/body connection exercise. It can change YOUR body, YOUR life, the rest of YOUR world. When taught properly, Pilates changes everything. I am only the skilled healer who renders it to you. If you’d like to learn Pilates in a body conscious, rigorous and soul safe environment, I am your teacher!

I have a BA in Dance from Queens College, and I wanted to be able to support myself while I danced. I ended up falling in love with the method!

I trained and worked with Romana and her daughter, Sari, in the world famous certifing studio in Manhattan.

Check their certification!!! Not many people know the difference in Pilates, until you come across a "real" teacher! There's a reason for the price difference!

I recently read about nuns trained in martial arts, biking for awareness of Human Trafficking across the Himilayas. Those are my kind of nuns!
