About Bonnie
Whistle Stop Clay Works is a fully equipped ceramics teaching studio and gallery located in historic downtown Loveland, Ohio, where the corners of Hamilton, Warren and Clermont counties meet. It's close to excellent restaurants and shops and just two blocks from the renowned Little Miami River Bike Trail.
Opened in June 2010, the Clay Works believe that art has a serious impact on one's life and the community in which they live.
While our focus is on instruction to help our students achieve the knowledge and skill to develop their own sense of ceramics art or craft, many agree that Whistle Stop Clay Works is just plain fun! We offer sculpting, handbuilding, and wheel classes for adults and children.

I began in College. I am primarily self taught.
Several instructors have MFAs.
I personally have worked with clay for over 25 years.
Our instructors have decades of experience and love what they do. We have a passion for clay and a love of learning.

We gather information about what interests and goals the potential student has. We then match them with the class and instructor that would best help them reah their goals.
Honestly, it is hard to list students we have NOT worked with.
We currently have students ranging in age from 5 to 82.
Women, men, children, developmentally delayed, all races, and sexual orientations.... Everyone is welcome
We have a class called Gifts and Goodies.
It is designed for children to make a gift for someone (Valentines Day, Mothers Day, you get the idea).
It is so sweet to see how excited children get about making something for someone else.

6 week classes are $235
4 week classes are $180
Adult Child classes are $120
Classses include clay, glazing, tools, firings and access to our Open Studio Hours.
We offer summer camps and after school enrichment, too.
