About Rachel

I love to help others find the joy of quilting with my step by step lessons! Quilting can be used as art therapy to help ease the pain of life. I've been quilting for over 20 years and have been in business/teaching for 4 years. I have won several ribbons in our county and state fairs for my quilts. I taught a T-shirt quilt class at a local quilt shop then decided to host in hone classes the following year. Then decided to try filming them to be able to reach a wider audience.

I have taken quilting classes/courses often throughout my life and continue to love to learn new techniques and patterns/designs.

About the lesson

If it is an in person class, I will get to know the student and where they're at in their quilting journey. Go over any basics by showing them first then watching them do the process next. Then be available for questions.

If it is a virtual/online class, I make sure to describe things as clearly as possible and show examples and make sure the camera can see what I'm doing

Children ages 8 through adult!

I would say find someone who teaches in their learning style and whom they live to be around! A patient, thorough teacher who can help you when you get stuck and is available for questions is golden!

My Farm Girl Vintage class! It teaches the basics through advanced techniques. Students can work at their own pace using the video lessons to guide them.

Just ask! There isn't a dumb or silly question. We've all had to start at the beginning at one time.
