About Kristin
I am trained in Orton-Gillingham Plus and have a background in Early literacy, having taught Pre-K and First Grade. I am looking to develop my skills even further so that I may help students with dyslexia or other learning difficulties.
Reading is such an important foundation for all learning. I love working with kids and helping them develop the skills that will open the doors to knowledge.
I began my career as a substitute, teaching many different grade levels and doing some long-term positions. Then, I worked as an assistant in a self-contained special education room. After that I taught Pre-K for 4 years, first grade, for 3 years and have worked as a reading interventionist for the last 3 years.
Degrees: BS Elementary Ed. , MA Literacy Specialist

Training: LETRS for Early Childhood, Orton-Gillingham Plus
