About Margaret
I love reading and love teaching children both the basics and the joy of reading. I am a former classroom teacher and have been a private tutor for eleven years. I've helped many children become proficient and enthusiastic readers.
I enjoy the process of unlocking the process of reading with children.

First, I will discover the child's level of instruction. I've had good results with both beginning and reluctant readers. In addition to instruction in the basics of decoding I facilitate fluency which often becomes a love of reading.
I've taught reading to students from kindergarten to high school, covering everything from phonics instruction to literature appreciation.
