I’m a student at MAI North , I first came looking for classes for my son , after a couple of months watching the lessons , I was encouraged by Master Dave to join the TKD class . It has been three years since , and I’m still loving it. The classes are great , Master Dave is excellent at everything he does , and the instructors are great too. I really recommend the school to anyone looking to learn how to protect themselves, and learn to prevent a bad situation from escalating. Come and train with us , and get in shape while doing so, no matter what age you are. It’s never late to learn something new .

My son has gone to MAI North for almost 5 years and he loves it! He started by attending the after school program, and then began taking Taekwondo lessons. He also attended the summer camps for 3 years. In that time he’s learned so much about responsibility, leadership, hard work and character, and has found a sport he loves in Taekwondo. I’ve always felt safe and comfortable leaving him in the care of Dave and Andrea and they’ve become such an important positive influence in his life over the years.

I am 23 and have never taken classes before. I go every day with my SO and it gives us quality time together while exercising and learning self defense strategies. We love the adult classes, which has a large range of ages. We were scared that we would either be too old or too young compared to every one else but it's a comfortable environment that holds several ages and personalities. Master Dave differentiates well and provides good feedback for each of us. We always get one on one time as well as learning as a group. We were really out of shape at first and I have some back problems and he puts that into consideration when in class. I found that its cheaper and more personal than other studios and It's a great way to meet new people, get daily exercise, and learn new skills!
