About Dewey

I have the largest gunsmith activity in North Alabama. I build custom rifles and handguns. I am a 22 year army vet with years of experience in firearms training as well as competition shooting. I train one on one with my students. I have an eight week course that I teach reflex shooting. At the end of the course, the student will go through a qualification course and receive a certificate of competition.

About the lesson

Inital interview to determine the student's skill level. Explain the concept of "reflex shooting". Explain that lessons will be conducted on a private range.

Children 9 years- adult

Interview the teacher to find out if he/she is a good match.

The 9 year old student. Qualified 38 out of 40 with his pistol and 39 out of 40 with his rifle.
