About Haylee

I started to tutor because I noticed after the pandemic and doing school online some students grades were declining due to multiple reasons. I want to help where I know I have enough knowledge in certain areas so I would be glad to help in any way I possible can!

Helping others has always been a strong part of my life in many ways! This is a new experience for me however I plan to help as much as I possibly can!

I graduated high school in 2020 so I'm not certified in anything but I do remember a lot and can help with explaining things better suited for the student than a teacher could to multiple. When a teacher teaches there's usually a few parts in which a student doesn't understand that part of the lesson, I've always did what I could to help my friends understand it better and a lot understood it after.

I know I'm not the best fit for many students to help them and I know I'm not the most qualified, however, I experienced the same thing they are and I understand their mentality about it. Most teachers focus on the studies and work while I'll focus on making the subject as understandable as I possibly can and not overworking the student!

I'm always open to chat about anything and how much knowledge I have in certain areas but no matter what I'll always do my best!

Helping anyone I can is always enjoyable for me! Growing up it's what my grandparents did and it just became a lifestyle for me while either with them or away. They made a huge impact on my life and for me to help others is how I carry them with me at all times!

I do have a high school diploma, I graduated in 2020 so I've not been able to pursue any further education due to not being able to afford it, in the future I hope to become a therapist but I'll always help people in any way that I possibly can!

About the lesson

First I'll get to know the student, ask the areas they mostly struggle in and start there. If they're having a bad day I'll understand and ask if they're okay to learn and when they need breaks I'll give it to them, giving my own advice from past experiences along the way! A students knowledge is important but if their mental health is affecting them then the knowledge they get taught in school won't stick. I'll always have my students back and they're always welcome to come to me for advice, whether it's about school or just something in their life in general!

Details

I charge based off the subject and my knowledge to the subject. My prices will be as affordable as I can make them! I'll work with whatever my students/their guardians are able to afford! I do understand some people can't afford the same luxuries as others so I want to be open to all that I possibly can!
