About Abigail Rose
My coaching is constructive and friendly. I will tell you what casting agents are looking for depending on what song/character you are working on. I have experience with a gamut of genres from opera, jazz, pop and Broadway.
I love seeing a student's journey. Watching them discover their voice and the developmental leaps that are made together makes it all worth the hard work for both student and teacher!
Truthfully it started as a need for extra income when not working a gig and I fell in love with watching students discover a vocal technique that works for them.
Training in London by personal request of Andrew Lloyd Webber by Fiona Grace McDougal.
Classically trained in opera.
Five years experience with jazz gigs throughout the East Coast.

I begin with the groundwork. My style is more coaching as I will guide a student through their vocal breaks, pitch issues and breathing excercises to achieve their unique sound.
I do not teach Solfège or piano.
Every age range from 5 to 70. Various levels of experience from beginner child to advanced opera singers.
Finding a teacher that fits you is like dating. Think of it as courting for your voice. I work with each student with different methods until we master what is best for your unique voice.
My last exciting performing event was being in final callbacks for Christine in Phantom of the Opera and singing O Mio Babbino Caro while Andrew Lloyd Webber himself accompanied me on piano.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Try to think what your goal is. Is it mastering an audition? Perfecting a specific song? Navigating a vocal break? Having these goals really helps a teacher help you!
